Overall condition is 99+++% throughout, and it appears to be unfired. The factory original blue finish is bright & shiny w/ no signs of handling that I can see at all, and the factory original Coltwood stocks are as ‘minty’ as the gun itself. This is an investment-grade Colt pistol in every possible way. The package includes the factory original two-piece Colt woodgrain box, which is numbered to the gun, the factory original ‘Colt Automatic Pistol’ manual, and a Colt letter of authenticity. According to the Colt Archives letter, this Colt Commander .38 Super was assembled on October 26, 1960, shipped on July 27, 1961, and delivered to P.H. Fulstow Co. in Norwalk, Ohio, in a shipment of just one gun.
