‘Dirty Harry is very proud to offer you this absolutely gorgeous 1940 Colt New Service .45 Colt revolver (serial # 347418), featuring a 5.5” barrel, a near-flawless factory original blue finish, and beautiful checkered wood service stocks w/ silver Colt medallions. This is a collector-grade pistol in every possible way, and its overall condition is as close to ‘new’ as you can get.
The factory original blue finish is bright and shiny w/ no distractions that I can see, the Colt service stocks are ‘mint’ w/ clean sharp checkering, and the lanyard still shows beautiful case-coloring. All mechanical functions appear to be perfect, w/ tight lockup, accurate timing, and minty barrel and cylinder bores. According to the Colt Archives letter, this pistol (factory order # 9358) was shipped on September 12, 1940, and delivered to ‘The State Of New York’ c/o Mr. Guy W. Pinck.
