S&W Model 27-8 .357 Magnum Lew Horton Limited-Edition 1 of 250 NIC!
We have always held a great interest in limited-edition Smith & Wesson pistols, and the one you are looking at now is an absolute jewel.
‘Dirty Harry’ is proud to offer you this absolutely gorgeous ‘New in Box’ Smith & Wesson Model 27-8 Performance Center Limited-Edition revolver that was commissioned by specialty distributor Lew Horton back in 2006. These pistols were intended to be a tribute to the legendary Smith & Wesson .357 Registered Magnum revolver. There were only 250 manufactured in this configuration (factory blue finish w/ a 3.5" barrel) and they received a special serial number prefix of ‘REM’. This example is #31 of the series. Built on the classic square-butt N-frame w/ four screws, it features an 8-shot cylinder and the revolver can be loaded w/ or w/out the aid of ‘moon-clips’.
Overall condition is 99%+ and the revolver appears to be virtually ‘brand new’. There are no visual distractions, no rust or pitting, etc. The laminated diamond checkered wood stocks are in ‘mint’ condition as well, featuring gold S&W medallions. Being basically ‘brand new’, all mechanical functions are perfect, w/ a tight lockup, perfect timing, and minty barrel & cylinder bores. It is quite apparent that this revolver has never been fired since leaving the factory.
The package is 100% complete, including the original S&W Performance Center aluminum lockable case, original owner's manual, miscellaneous S&W factory paperwork, safety lock, keys for the internal lock, and the fired case envelope that shows this revolver was factory test fired on December 22, 2006.
If you love limited-edition Smith & Wesson handguns as much as we do, this absolutely gorgeous pistol will certainly put a huge smile on your face!
