Here is one for all of you collectors who love 60’s-era Colt revolvers. Dirty Harry’ is very proud to offer you this absolutely beautiful 1966 Colt Detective Special .38 Special revolver (serial # 912249) featuring a 2” snub-nose barrel, a near-perfect factory original blue finish, gorgeous checkered wood stocks w/ silver Colt medallions, and a factory installed hammer shroud. This is a ‘stellar’ little pistol folks! Rated @ 99%, overall condition is simply excellent throughout! The factory original blue finish is beautiful w/ only the most minimal sings of handling, and the checkered wood stocks w/ silver Colt medallions are minty. All mechanical functions are perfect w/ tight lockup, accurate timing, and mint barrel & cylinder bores. The package includes the factory original two-piece woodgrain Colt box, which is numbered to the gun, and all of the factory original Colt paperwork. Also included is the Colt Archives letter, which shows that this pistol was shipped on June 2, 1966, and delivered to Musket and Lance in Cleveland, Ohio. I have always loved ‘factory hammer shroud’ revolvers, and can safely say that this little 1966 Colt Detective Special is guaranteed to put a huge smile on your face!
