This pistol is an absolute show-stopper folks!
This revolver has never been fired since leaving the factory and is in pristine ‘AS NEW’ condition throughout. The A-Level engraving over the original deep blue finish is simply outstanding in every way, and the original smooth Goncalo Alves Target stocks are absolutely perfect. All mechanical functions appear to be perfect as well, w/ a tight lockup, accurate timing, and minty barrel & cylinder bores. This unique factory-engraved S&W pistol cannot be upgraded in any way, period.
The package includes a beautiful walnut display case w/ red lining & custom display plaque, a letter of authenticity from the Smith & Wesson Historical Foundation, and copies of the original S&W order forms. According to the S&W letter, this revolver was shipped from the Roosevelt Avenue factory on December 11, 1974, and delivered to Adolph Blaich, Inc. in Reno, Nevada.
