1960 Colt Python .357 Magnum 4" Blue w/ Original Box/Paperwork & Test Target!
If you are an avid collector of vintage Colt Pythons, but are only interested in ‘mint-condition’ pistols in their factory original packaging, you will want to take a very close look at this little jewel.
‘Dirty Harry’ is quite proud to offer you this absolutely gorgeous 1960 Colt Python .357 Magnum 4” blue revolver (serial # 12494). 1960 was the first year that Colt offered the 4” barrel on a Python. This is an investment-grade package in every sense of the term. Overall condition is a solid 99% throughout. The factory original deep blue finish is bright & shiny w/ only the slightest signs of handling, and the factory original checkered wood stocks w/ gold medallions are in excellent condition as well. It is blatantly obvious that this pistol has been meticulously cared for since new. All mechanical functions are perfect w/ a tight lockup, accurate timing, and minty barrel & cylinder bores.
The overall package is as impressive as the pistol itself, including the factory original two-piece faux woodgrain Colt box, which is numbered to the gun, the original Colt paperwork, the original round Colt screwdriver tool, the original cleaning brush, and last but certainly not least, the factory original Englehardt signed test target. According to the Colt Archives letter, which will accompany the gun, this Colt Python was shipped on December 15, 1960, and delivered to Bell’s Gun Sport Shop in Franklin Park, Illinois.
Again, if you love vintage Colt Pythons as much as we do, especially ones that retain their complete factory original package, you would have to search long & hard to find a finer example than this gorgeous 1960 Colt Python .357 Magnum 4” blue revolver!
